Mellowbit Studio builds small apps that work on your Mac. This policy explains what happens with data when you visit mellowbit.studio or use our apps. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and the files you work with stay on your Mac.
Who we are
This policy covers the Mellowbit Studio website and apps published under the Mellowbit Studio name. For app-specific details, see the individual policies listed at the bottom of this page.
Information we collect
This website does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies for tracking purposes. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not store personal profiles of visitors.
Like most websites hosted on standard infrastructure, our hosting provider may process basic request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver pages securely and keep the service running. We do not combine this with other data or use it to identify you.
When you email us, we receive the message and any files or screenshots you choose to attach, and we keep the thread so we can respond and follow up.
Information our apps collect
Our apps are designed to do their work locally on your Mac. They do not require an account, and they do not send your files, documents, or app packages to our servers. Each app's own privacy policy describes its data practices in detail, including what is collected for App Store compliance.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

App Store and purchases
When you download or buy an app through the Mac App Store, the transaction is handled by Apple. Apple collects and processes certain information for the purchase, including payment details, under its own privacy policy. We may receive aggregated sales and download reports from Apple, which do not identify individual customers.
Data retention and deletion
We keep support email threads only as long as needed to help you and to maintain the apps. Ask us and we will delete any personal information you sent us. Our apps do not store personal data on our side.
Children
Our websites and apps are general productivity tools, not services directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Material changes to an app's data practices will also be reflected in its own privacy policy.
