Get started
Peeka is a native Mac app that extends Finder’s Quick Look for developer files. Select a file and press the space bar to see package details, a formatted document, source code, database structure, or archive entries. Peeka reads the file on your Mac. You do not need a Peeka account, Android Studio, or Java.
- Download Peeka from the Mac App Store and open it.
- In Peeka, open Settings → General → Open Extensions Settings. On macOS 15 or later, you can also use System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → Quick Look, and turn Peeka on.
- In the format list, search for the formats you use and leave their previews on. Free formats start enabled. Pro formats stay off until you unlock Peeka Pro.
- Return to Finder, select a supported file, and press the space bar.
